Suzanne Ferguson

Rowann Lindsey

Penny Makis
Suzanne is a contemporary mixed-media artist based in Boone, NC. Her work often blends materials such as watercolors, acrylics, collage, found objects, fabrics, and colored pencils on wood or canvas, incorporating multiple layers and textures.
She received her bachelor’s degree in art from Belmont Abbey College.
Her current series explores a retro kitchen theme and represents “letting things go so that piled-up chaos doesn’t get in the way of everyday life.”
Suzanne hopes that when you view her art, you find something that resonates, interests or surprises you, but most of all brings you joy.
Rowann's dad was her first art teacher and biggest supporter. He always said she had an eye for color.
As a child she turned to nature, spending time outside in the family orange groves and woods. The natural world became her first therapist and source of wonder.
All of her paintings are inspired by precious moments where she has been awed by the beauty and serenity of being.Write your text here...

Adrienne Morris
I’m an artist fueled by faith, family, and a lifelong love of creativity. A lover of Jesus, my family, cats, Peanuts and the Gang, and the beauty of wildlife, my work is rooted in joy and purpose. My artistic journey began during the custom shoe craze of the mid-2000s, when I painted a pair of shoes for my daughter. What started as a single project quickly became a calling. Today, I spend as much time as possible immersed in my art, using it as a way to share the Word.

Clayton Proctor
I have been interested in art since I was a child. In elementary school I was often getting in trouble for drawing cars and motorcycles instead of doing my work. Later in life I was able to turn my love of art into my profession.
I started my career painting furniture, murals and creating custom wall finishes. Only after moving to West Jefferson in 2000 did I begin painting on canvas. Since then I have produced hundreds of paintings while also beginning to create stained glass mosaics, custom picture frames and portraits.
Founding members of The River Rock Gallery in 2002. In 2009 I opened Ripples Gallery and was open until 2015.
Murals: A Tromp l’oeil style scene with cars and faux stonework. Located beside the ABC store at the intersection of South Jefferson Ave./Buck Mountain Rd. One on the side of Mountain Outfitters in downtown West Jefferson, another is at Randy Marion Chevrolet on Mount Jefferson Rd behind Walmart.
My painting style varies greatly. What I enjoy most about painting is the process. I sometimes paint the same subject over and over but in different styles and colors just for the fun of the process. I love to experiment and try new things. I love texture and lots of colors. I love a big canvas.Write your text here...

Guy Hull
My work is rooted in freedom—freedom to experiment, to play, and to let go of expectations.
Many of my pieces begin their lives as mass-produced or forgotten objects: mirrors, panels, canvases, or home décor items that were once designed to blend in. Through paint, mixed media, and intuitive mark-making, I transform them into original artworks that stand apart from their origins.
I’m drawn to layers, texture, and movement, allowing each piece to unfold organically rather than following a fixed plan. Some works are bold and energetic, others quiet and reflective, but all are guided by a sense of curiosity and trust in the creative process.

Montana Pilar
Montana Pilar is a 29 year old self taught artist based in Jefferson, NC. Her work explores a versatility between the bold textures of abstract art and the intricate stillness of realism. Drawing deep inspiration from the natural world and the spirit of animals, her paintings and sketches capture the vibrant pulse of the organic and the imagined. With an eye toward a future career in tattoo artistry, she is currently focused on mastering and defining her unique aesthetic as an upcoming artist. Her art invites viewers into her perspective; a place of constant growth, beauty and untamed inspiration.

Stephanie Broyhill
Stephanie Broyhill is a Western North Carolina artist whose work is shaped by a lifelong connection to the High Country. As the founder of Oak & Ash Creations, she creates layered wood maps and statement pieces that honor the landscapes and stories that define Appalachian life.
Believing that place carries memory, Stephanie works primarily with solid hardwoods and reclaimed materials, allowing the grain, texture, and history of the wood to remain part of the story. Her dimensional maps translate elevation and geography into tactile form, preserving not only the land itself, but the experiences tied to it.
Her work reflects a quiet reverence for the mountains and communities that shaped her, creating pieces meant to be lived with — and remembered
